Organ Finds A New Home

To answer a question that many people have asked, we found a new home for the pipe organ that was stored on The Masonic’s second floor for years.

Given its size and our early plans for that space, we decided it was best for the organ to be enjoyed at a new home.  Of course, we wanted to find the right owner before moving forward given its historic significance and rarity.

Following a meet & greet event we hosted in September 2022 at The Masonic, we were introduced to Greg Wells, a Grammy-award winning music producer, musician and audio engineer. Greg is based in Los Angeles but has deep roots in Trinity Bay with connections to the Green family of Winterton. After conversations with us and a visit to The Masonic to see the organ in person, Greg is now the happy new owner.

In 2022, he purchased the old Anglican church in Winterton, which is now known as Trinity Hall. We know Greg will certainly give it the attention, respect and new life it deserves within this community space. The organ was “unveiled” during Trinity Hall’s grand opening event in May 2023.

We thank Greg, the Trinity Hall team, and the community of Winterton for giving the organ the attention and appreciation it deserves.
